This privacy policy explains what information the Telly Fixtures app (“the app”) collects, how it is used and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Who we are

Telly Fixtures is responsible for your information under UK data protection law. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at support@tellyfixtures.co.uk.

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. You do not need to create an account or give us your name to use the app.

• Settings and preferences. Your chosen sports, competitions, reminders and app settings are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
• Purchase information. If you start a subscription or redeem a promo code, we receive information about that purchase (such as what was bought, when and whether it is active) along with an anonymous identifier created by the app. Payments are handled by Google Play; we never see your card details.
• Technical information. Like most apps and websites, our service providers may receive your device’s IP address and basic technical details when the app connects to the internet. Google Play may also share crash and performance reports with us if you have allowed this on your device.
• Information you send us. If you send feedback or email us, we receive what you choose to include, such as your email address and message.

The app does not show adverts, does not use advertising or tracking tools, and does not access your location, contacts, photos or files.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

• provide the app and keep the listings up to date;
• manage free trials, subscriptions and promo codes;
• reply to your messages and improve the app;
• keep the service secure and prevent misuse; and
• meet our legal obligations, such as keeping records for tax.

We rely on these legal bases: providing the service you have asked for, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the app, and complying with the law.

Sharing your information

We never sell your data. We share information only with trusted service providers that help us run the app, such as app store and payment services, subscription management, hosting and email providers. They may only use it to provide their services to us. We may also share information if required by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK law.

Keeping it secure

Information sent between the app and our services is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems and accounts is restricted and protected.

How long we keep it and how to delete it

• Information stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
• Purchase records are kept while your subscription is active and then for as long as needed for tax and accounting (up to 6 years).
• Other information, such as promo code records, feedback and emails, is kept for no longer than 12 months after it is no longer needed.
• You can ask us to delete any information we hold about you at any time by emailing support@tellyfixtures.co.uk.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy of it. To use any of these rights, email us and we will respond within one month. As we do not know who you are, we may ask for something to help find your data, such as your Google Play order number.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If we make important changes, we will let you know in the app.
